So I for one am glad Star Trek is back, even if it is more warmongering than it used to be. I'm hoping that changes though after the first season. Still Star Trek fun though. I have to get it on CBS All Access for free when they run a trial since I don't use tv.
So far I think it's really good. I like it. It is different, but still good. The engineer, Paul Stamet, is named after the real life mycologist Paul Stamet, so that's really cool. He's done more for mushroom science and culture than any other singular human.
Also has Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger) which oughta be Michelle Yeow! because she's a total badass, still hot, super classy lady. Does great in both roles she has. She's older but easily the hottest one on the show IMO.
