Haven’t heard much about this brass lately. For those of you using it how are you liking it? Is it pretty consistent from lot to lot? How many firings are you getting out of it?

    Thanks

I really like their brass. I ran a bunch of their 243 and some of the 6.5 Creedmoor SR. I did a mini writeup on here about the 6.5 after weighing and measuring all 250 pieces and being blown away by the fact that it's twice as consistent as Lapua is. I also like that it has a standard size flash hole which helps prevent hang fires in cold climates. My rule of thumb now is if Starline makes it, I run it.

Just ordered 200 pieces of their 6mm Creedmoor SR brass yesterday for my Q.

I'm using both Lapua and Starline SRP for my 6.5 CM. My findings are that the Lapua case weight is a little more consistent than the Starline but not by too much. I'm starting my 3rd loading of each so can't really comment on the longevity of either just yet.

Both measure pretty consistent on neck thickness and I haven't noticed a difference in the accuracy I'm able to achieve. I rate both above Hornady brass which I'm using for my 6 CM. Wish either Starline or Lapua had been available when I had that rifle built. I feel the Starline is a good value, pending results of case life.

good to hear about starline. I've shot a ton of their pistol brass over the years, and was excited to see them branch into 6.8spc and a few other bottleneck calibers. When it first came out the reviews weren't quite as stellar as I had expected given their past performance but I guess they have stepped it up a bit now that it's been out for a while.

I'l pick up some 6.5 SRP shortly.
