Using Federal 210M, 108elds, H4350. 26” 1-7.5 Bartlein. Is 40gr a good starting load. It seems to put me in that 2900-2950 range. It’s my first 6mm. I want the speed. But, I’d like to make the barrel last as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What data are you looking at? I’d start lower, but I’d probably stop lower than most too. Of the three I’ve done developement on, not one went over 41 gr for a year round load. FWIW, you can have speed or barrel life, not both. Just load for accuracy, the speed and life will shake out on their own.

I'm running 39 grs of H4350 with a 108 eldm in Lapua brass so cci br4 primers and they are cruising at 2925. 22" barrel suppressed. Single digit SD

105 bergers in Hornady brass with 40.6 H4350 210m primers 3000 fps. A touch more accurate in my rifle than the 108s, but I like the price better of the 108s!

Yeah. I was thinking of starting with 40. But, I think I’m gonna start at 39gr of H4350. With the 108’s. I was guestimating MV off of Hornady’s 11th edition. Thanks for the help. I have about 500 of the 108’s. Gonna shoot those up then try the Berger LRHT’s.
