Steel Badger Vs. Leupold MK4 rings pros and cons?
I have both and they work great but and just curious what you all think...

I have Badger, MKIV and Nightforce and I don't think you could go wrong with any. I've become a fan of Badger because it's what the Corps uses and it has USMC stamped on them (you know how we are), but thats about the only reason. I think they're all great for the average recreational shooter.

I think they are about equal in performance but the badgers are a little bit lighter.

I had Mark IV's, very sturdy, but not as much attention to detail in the machining as Badgers. I have to say I was intrigued about Badgers, so I bought a set of Alloy 30mm, I was very impressed. The inner surface area that comes in contact with the scope tube is slicker than snot. I also like the fact that they have a recoil lug built into their bases. After owning both Mark IV's and Badgers, I will stick with Badger.

Thanks all...like I said I own and have used both on various guns and I have no issues with either brand.
So, it sounds like both will do just fine when the chips are down.
