Rifle Scopes Steiner 10x50 Military LRF

Re: Steiner 10x50 Military LRF

I'd like to know as well. I love my Steiner 10x50 military/marine binos and being able to do the same with a LRF integrated would be excellent. Glass quality not quite Leica or Zeiss but the Steiner is as tough as nails

Would be interested also.

Brought back to life. Does anyone have any opinions on these? Still looking at vectronix terrapin but wondering if these are a better choice being binos and all. Does the ranging part of this unit run with the terrapin at all? Thanks in advance.

Re: Steiner 10x50 Military LRF

I was able to play around with a set, and look through them outside a loacal store. I could look at mountains off in the distance, but there wasn't much to range beyond 200-yards.

They are bigger and heavier then you would think, almost as large as the Military/Marine 10x50's

The glass was fairly good, and what little I had available to range, that part worked Ok. The one thing I din't like about them is - I wear glasses, and normaly slide my glasses up when I look through binoculars or spotting scopes. I adjust the eye-piece(s) to correct for my uncorrected vision, but with these Steiners, if I do that, the LRF range display is not in focus, which is not the case when in the past I tried Zeiss and another brand that I cannot recall at this moment.

Because of that, I have a set of the Zeiss 8x45 LRF added to my wish list.
