I was just in Cabelas this past weekend and happened to look through a few bino's. I never realized what I have been missing by using the cheap $80 generic glass. I was amazed at the Steiner and Leupold optics, I should have looked through the Zeiss and Leica but I knew I could never afford either. I found a pair of Steiner Predator C5 10x42 in the bargain cave marked $660, I bargained them down to $546. They were brand new, all accessories included except the box. Does this seem like a good deal?

I have 2 pairs of Steiner's and a pair of Meopta binoculars, they are all good sets. The Steiner lens coating enhances browns and reds so they stand out against the background, good for hunting use.
