Rifle Scopes Steiner predator vs. Vortex pst

looking for a scope and deciding between these two scopes. i know two completely different types hunting vs tactical. looking for a good all around scope able to do hunting and bench shooting. steiner 4x16x50 or the vortex viper pst 6x24x50. going on a lr308 18" barrel. will be doing hunting out to 500-600 yards. looking for comparison on glass quality and pros and cons. i know both have great warranty and custom service. gonna pull the trigger in the next few days and wanting to do it right the first time. if there is anything i left out i will add it. thanks

If you do a search there are tons of reviews on Vortex PST scopes.
I don't own a Steiner and only saw one once at a match.
I looked through it at 600 yards and it looked very clear on target .
Sorry can't tell you much more about comparing it against a Vortex PST.

There's a thread floating around about a member who just bought one.
