I recently bought a Steiner xTreme Predator 4-16X50 2nd hand.

Does anyone know at what magnification the holdover marks are calibrated for??

It came boxed with drop charts for all calibers (with zero range) and the user manual but no info regarding mag calibration.

Thanks in advance!

It's calibrated at the max magnification of 16x.

If a scope has a mildot or BDC and doesn't specify the magnification it's calibrated at, it's a safe bet it will be calibrated at maximum magnification.

By the way, the Predator Extreme BDC reticle is basically the same as the Burris Fullfield E1 BDC reticle, and you can get more info (though mostly more of the same info that you have in the manual) at the Burris website:

Ballistic Plex E1 reticles - rifle scopes, handgun scopes, hunting scopes by Burris Optics

Steiner and Burris are now both brands under the Beretta conglomerate, and both of them have US management and design at the same facility in Colorado. As far as I can tell this has improved both of them. There used to be an active Steiner rep on this forum (username "Steiner Optics" I believe) but he disappeared a month or two ago, possibly due to other company commitments (I think it was stated that he was also manager or VP of marketing or something) and they posted an ad for a new internet rep, so sometime soon there will probably again be an active rep here.
