Ok, im new at selling my used handguns. I am going to talk to the State police in order to not f*ck anything up. From your experiences what are the steps that will be required. I also hold a CCW. Thanks for the help.

The laws regarding private firearm sales vary from state to state. I'm sure an LEO would know or would know where to point you. I would go and speak with an FFL license holder. They'll know the laws in your state and will be very familiar with the procedures.

Asking the police for legal advice is a good way to end up in jail.
States don't have the authority to regulate interstate commerce of firearms. So you won't have to worry about state laws if you put them on gunbroker and ship them out of state.
I know Michigan has some truly stupid and insane laws for handguns, but I'm not sure what the details are.
