I purchased a Choate tactical stock a little over a year ago and am just now able to put it all together. I took the original apart and assembled it in the new stock. The only issue is the magazine retaining clip does not sufficiently hold the blind mag in. Once installed the rear of the mag slides up and obstructs the bolt from closing. I am highly contemplating and saving to do the CDI or SSS DBM modification. But in the mean time, can I epoxy the retaining clip and the mag together where they would normally attach?

PN,

I did pretty much the same thing you did. Except, I converted mine to a DBM. Savage has a kit for that. If you didn't convert, there is something missing that is not keeping the box down. I would check with Savage and double check as to what you need.
