STFU, Terrorist

In other news, Hornets and wasps want Raid banned.

What pisses me off is these congress members that were in office and briefed on this that had no problem with it till politically expedient. Feinstein tops that list.

Really??
Now we give a damn what someone committed to killing us thinks or says? Unbelievable that this wasn’t on a comedy channel.
Someone wants to whack me or mine I don’t care what you did to get info from them.
You would have to be brain dead and world news illiterate to spend a vote on a damn democrat. The number of ways that party is eroding our principles and values are almost beyond measure.

It speaks volumes that so many of our fine "representatives" are in complete agreement with a known and convicted enemy of the state. The extreme likelihood that this terrorist's document will be submitted and examined as pertinent to her nomination makes me even more disgusted with the traitors in our capitol than normal.

I am all for spirited discussion and even vehement disagreement between parties and candidates, but the defining point should have been when they started supporting our enemies against the state. I say "should have been" since it's been long ago when that line was first crossed. Now it is considered business as usual in the swamp.

All the questioning of Haspel is party line politics at it's finest. Dewey7271 pretty much hits the nail on the head. By the way, does anyone besides myself think Hapsel look like an older Leslie Winkle from The Big Bang Theory?

Why should we care what Ron Jeremy thinks....

I'm for water boarding, pulling finger nails an dipping said finger/s in battery acid. I like 3/8" drill bits to the knee caps/hip joints. Have their family members setting there an being dismembered in front of them. Then nailing their dick to a stump, set everything around the stump on fire so the stump will catch, then throw them a knife. Cutting ears off is so lame these days.

^^^^ You sir are a sick man. Seek help.

I advocate shooting enemies. Bullets are cheap by comparison and interrogation like that (no matter what info it yields) would put on the same level as the vile animals who stone women for being the victims of rape.

I just watched her opening statement at her confirmation hearing. She's a career spook, who worked the field, with a background in counter terrorism. In short, she's what EVERY nominee for CIA Director should be rather than the exception. Political appointees running the Agency never made a lick of sense to me.

Don't give a knife for the dick nailing. Let 'em rip it off.

First of all, lots of us have been water-boarded. If you attended Navy SERE school (and probably the other ones) you get water-boarded. It is NOT considered torture by the dictionary or by actual men:

tor·ture
[ˈtôrCHər]

NOUN
  1. the action or practice of inflicting severe pain on someone as a punishment or to force them to do or say something, or for the pleasure of the person inflicting the pain.
synonyms: infliction of pain · abuse · torment · ill treatment · maltreatment ·
    [more]
harsh treatment · punishment · persecution
VERB
tortures (third person present) · tortured (past tense) · tortured (past participle) · torturing (present participle)
  1. inflict severe pain on.
"most of the victims had been brutally tortured"
    synonyms: inflict pain on · inflict suffering on · torment · ill-treat · abuse · mistreat ·
    [more]
Waterboarding sucks and is discomforting in the extreme without inflicting a great deal of actual pain. Ergo, NOT torture.

Bullets are cheap by comparison and interrogation like that (no matter what info it yields) would put on the same level as the vile animals who stone women for being the victims of rape.

Actual torture has been used to extract information for thousands of years,... because it doesn't work? Tell us some more. Torture for it's own sake doesn't work, sure. What's your point? No one should engage in sadism, ever, period? I agree completely. However, torture, coupled with an interrogation program, absolutely works. Nothing works better at all, that is, except actually befriending the person whom you want to extract the information from to the point where they trust you and tell you willingly. That is the best way, and it can take months or years to get there. Torture isn't as certain, to be sure, but it cuts the time line from months or years down to hours.

If you think you ask a question and then hit the electrodes when they don't give you the answer you want, ala the feverish fantasy of Hollywood script writers creating Nazi sadists you are completely ignorant. Torture is a 100% effective aid in breaking someone down, and reducing them to the point where they will willingly tell you what they know. By that time the effectiveness or torture is completely over. You never interrogate someone while you are torturing them, ever. You torture someone to demonstrate their helplessness and your total power over them. You do it to reduce them to the lowest level possible. You break them, and THEN you interrogate them. Torture doesn't have any place during interrogation. You don't even overtly threaten it. You leave it hanging out there unsaid, which is unquestionably far worse.

The effectiveness of this in only in question among the American media, whose familiarity extends to movies they've seen.

But, as I said, I don't consider water boarding torture, so this is a gigantic area in the GWOT we have not availed ourselves of at all.

I think GITMO pretty much became a Club Fed under Obama. I don't know this first hand, but it seems like it's gone far beyond prayer mats and Koran's the guards can't defile with their infidel touch. They probably have full Direct TV.

I have no issue with shooting my/our enemys, none at all. However I am going to get every bit of useful Intel I can before they get off'ed, if they arrive alive. If you think what I posted was bad, you have no Idea how it really works to keep this nation free. That is kids stuff as to what really goes on in the real world, an no one holds out long, no one. It's best to eat one of your own, before getting snatched alive.

I was not specifically responding to waterboarding. It is an effective tool and many people who have been through it as training have said it isnt as bad as its made out to be. I believe them vs a bunch of terrorist punks.

More the rest of the torture mentioned I have issue with.
I do not agree with torture. End of story as for me.

Wait wait wait a second. I’m not real up on politics like a lot of you, but, sounds to me like the Democrats are against her nomination because she was tough on terrorists that were imprisoned at Guantanamo? Lmao. Really? The dems won’t support her because she actually gave them a hard time and interrogated them hard enough to get answers. Hahahaha this should pretty much put the nail in the Democrat coffin. They might as well be planting IEDS against our troops, oh wait they already were supporting that too by backdoor funding the Iran military with that nuclear deal. My head is spinning. Wtf. Maybe I need to start listening to Rush, Hannity, Savage, Colter, and the other talking heads on AM radio again because I am wayyyy slow on the political ball.

That alone should get her approved.

Our problem since the beginning has never been an inability to locate and destroy the enemy. Our problem, and it still is, is to have the fortitude to wipe them our regardless of how 'mean' it looks. We've been trying to fight from the moral high ground against people who rape children, set people on fire and want to overly kill basically anyone that isn't them; yet we're worried about feelings and what some faggots on the TV might say. Take the gloves off and after a while it becomes the new normal; we simply haven't had anyone with a sack to take the first step of this in a LONG time.

LeMay simply said that if you kill enough of them, they stop fighting. The problem with this idea in Iraq/Afghanistan is that there's basically no choice for them other than to fight us regardless of attrition rates. Ironically, the higher the attrition rates, the more of them come because we just seem to be killing everyone they know and now, they too, want to fight the evil Western devil. They have no real outlets other than be a goat herder until you die of dysentery before you're 40, work in the poppy fields until you randomly get shot by some local warlord who is now taking it over until the new warlord takes it over in 2 more weeks, or join whatever flavor of the week terrorist group rolls through your hood and either gives your family food/money or threatens to kill them if you don't come because you are denying the will of allah.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, if you go and fight the Americans and die, you get to leave this shithole world that smells of hot garbage and you go straight to heaven and get to bang hot ass virgins all day, forever. So tell me again how hearts and minds fixes this?

The only way to get these faggots under control at least as a first step, is to make the punishment for even thinking about fighting us so steep, that all the 'PROS' to doing it are negated. When you know that instead of being in heaven banging Desert Barbie you could instead be in an unknown, unnamed detention center getting a dildo stuck up your ass while being waterboarded and that we may also be doing this to your family, just because, well...people start thinking twice about doing stupid shit.

The only weak people in this entire equation is us. And the irony is we think we're doing the right thing.

Our problem is not killing people, we can kill with ease.

Our problem is civilian policy makers that go to war with no defined strategy by which to determine the end zone.

Shame on our military for not saying "Tell us what the goal is and we will develope the plan to get you there and than we come home".

Dumb and wasteful of life on our end and the other end.

LeMay had the benefit of knowing what constituted victory - unconditional surrender of Japan. He was motivated to go home and he made it happen as quick as he could saving American life and Japanese life.

When does GWOT ever end - Never!

Dumb, bring back the draft and an end will be demanded.

The dems don't give two shits about what she did at the agency, she is being blocked because she is a Trump nominee. If she was nominated 09-16, they would have been clamoring and fawning all over her to be the first woman to lead the CIA.

This is pure politics, and has zero to do about her capabilities or experience.
