Still Torn on 6ARC Scope Choice!

The 6ARC gas gun has a 20" Ballistic Advantage DMR barrel. I've looked around here and even posted on this same subject before, but I simply cannot seem to make up my mind. Hoping to spend less than $1K. What suggestions for a rifle scope? Last post I put a few examples of what I was considering. This time, I'll just ask the forum if you were building the same rifle, what would you choose for the optic?

Didn’t read the other thread, but I’ve pondered a similar build and I’d probably run a 3-15 PST gen II. There’s other good ones, but I like illumination. Of course, mine would just be a Coyote smacker, you may need more X’s.....

Call or PM @Spartan Precision Arms and grab a Midas Tac or a Ares ETR. He will beat every vendors price on the hide.

For your price point the glass quality and features of those two Athlon scopes are hard to beat.

I initially bought a Bushnell LRTS from Camera Land (750, great deal).

Then almost immediately afterward, the Bushnell XRS2 went on sale at Midway for 1100 with the H59 Reticle, so I picked that one up too.

I initially mounted and shot the LRTS and it did great, no issues. I've since switched to the XRS2 since I liked the extra magnification.

If you're looking to spend under 1k and aren't stretching 6ARC all the way out, the LRTS is great. Camera Land seems to have sold out of the LRTS now, but they pop up every now and then for sale here.

ETA, Midway still has the XRS2 on sale, it's 1200 now for the H59, but still a great deal.

$1000 and under athlon etr hands down. Great turrets locking wind and illumination. Second midas tac are great and way under $1000. Capped wind and no illumination. Camralandny is great place or cattleman99 on here his prices will shock you and great to deal with. But the athlon cronus is there top of the line and been selling for 950 to 1050 in px.

I have an Ares 3-18 on my 22" 6 grendel variant. Works great for mid-long range banger. Mine is the BTR that I got on sale for like $300 just to throw glass on, but I'll be upgrading to the ETR soon. I've got an ETR on another rifle and it's awesome.
