anyone got any dimensions for the Stiller Tac 408, have one coming in a few weeks, and looking at modifying an A5 with Rem L/A ADL inlet, i know the OD is 1.450, but i'm stumped as to the action bolt spacing, OAL etc.
I realise i could call them, but it has been my experience that the crew at Stiller's prefer to spend their time making great actions rather than answering phones, email is usually preferable, but you dont always get the most detailed replies, due to the large volume of incoming mail.
i was just hoping someone here might have handled one.
I dont have them handy without digging into cnc code. The actions are 1.45 and 1.6 in diameter and 10.2 inches long or so. The lower fitup is the same as the cheytac actions that lawton makes. The front is .2 longer to better accomodate the cartriges in the box and give a stronger lower lug abutment. Thats about all I have right now.
