Stock forend texture

Looking for the material used to place on the forend of the stock for texture.
Manufactures/sources, links would be great.

Also, good, bad and the ugly if there are multiple vendors.

just go buy marine tex from Ace. Its cheap and easy. then follow the instructions above

I got turned on to Devcon steel and love it. If you try to use one of the hardware store epoxies try something with a quick set up time. Dont even bother with JB weld, it cures to slow and will self level.
