Gunsmithing Stock Ideas

New to long range shooting. I have a Remington R5 in 308 that I bought several years ago and have not fired. Already have a trigger for an upgrade, sending the bolt off soon, and now am thinking of upgrading the stock.. Alot of the ones I see are 500.00+. Is there any decent tactical stocks out there that are affordable? Also, any other ideas on setting the rifle up would be great. Thanks in advance.

Bell and Carlson is an option. You might be able to find one of those high end stocks used. And you won't have to wait 6 months to get it.

This. The prices may be steep but the stocks are worth it.
