Gunsmithing stock options for sako trg

Hi all
does anyone know of an aftermarket stock to fit the TRG ,[338] would like to find an all aluminium tactical type,
looking for something with some weight to it,
cant get on with the factory one
any suggestions ?

McMillan and Manners are the only two that I know of, and those are composite.

Tom is doing a T4A for my TRG-S...it's a "special order" because he has to build up the tang area a little, but he will do them.

There are some offerings coming out of Sweden as well,

the prototype is done and tested, I have fondeled it for an all alu side collapsable stock for amongst other systems the TRG.

I might be able to hook you up with the guy that leads the project.

I get on well with my TRG stock after adding spacers but I'd be interested to see that stock !

</div></div>I was considering a factory TRG stock for my build, but seemed quite expensive. The Manners looked like a nice stock and certainly of good quality so it was between that and the McM for the Sako. The McM was more expensive and more wait time, and IMO didn't have anything to offer over the Manners.

TRG-folder with the extra Picatinny rail handguard system up front adds weight just fine. It will empty your wallet too

In Finland some target shooter have switched over to laminated stocks with TRG-21/22. The aluminium skeleton is inletted nad glued into the laminated stock and the barreled action screwed to it just the way it was designed.
