Stock options for Savage 10 Predator ?

I am looking for a different stock for my Savage 10 predator in 6.5 CM. HS precision has a stock I am interested in but my question is the barrel has a lot of taper, it is not a standard bull barrel. So I was wondering if anybody has the same rifle or similar that they have replaced the stock on? I think the HS Precision will work but I don't want a huge gap in the barrel channel. Any thoughts?

The contour should be described as a Varmint barrel channel when your looking into a new stock. The HS should work fine.

go with a Regular stock "sporter and open up the barrel channel if have any problems with contact. Also a Bell and Carlson is a little cheaper and just as good as the HS..."my opion on alluminum bedded fiberglass stocks". The rifle will handle way better for you and look better too. Nothing worse than a sporter barrel contour riding in a bull barrel channel, makes the rifle look unfinished.

I went with a McMillan A5 for my 10PC.

My Predator Max1 is resting in my Manners T3. I am swapping the Max1 for the Snow Predator in the next week or so.

I am very partial to Manners. If you have a chance to actually shoulder one, you will see for yourself what I mean!!
