I did some searching on the net (I am limited on time since I am deployed) and was wondering what the purpose of "flush cups" are?

Sorry for the newb question but I am used to traditional stocks.

Also if you were looking at putting a McMillan A5 stock on a Remington 700 LA .300WM (Sendero) what options would you think about getting with it?

    Thanks,

    Re: Stock questions

My concern with something like the Uncle mikes version there is accidental release of the sling by bumping the release push button.
That would be the last thing I would want to have happen.

    Re: Stock questions

I like them because when they are removed there is no swivel stud sticking out. The stock rides the bags much better. I use the flush mounts for the rear and one of the front swivels. I use a regular stud for the front bipod attachment. I'm looking for an adapter to go from flush mount to QD so I can attach my bipod via a flush mount unit.
