Stock's and Drop Mag systems

I have a few questions

1 is there a Detachable Magazine system that will work with a "factory inlet" stock, Like if I buy a b&c and run it until I can afford the Detachable Magazine set up?

2 Do you think its more cost effective to save up and just get a McRee's or some other chassis system that is all ready set up to go?

I think the only DBM that "will fit" factory inlet is the H&S DBM, and then I think they only have 5 round mags.
B&C $440, PTG BDM $140, Inlet stock $140 = $720

inletting a stock for the trigger guard and trimming some of the material around well for fit isn't really as big of a deal as you think. for a "blank" stock inletting for a receiver, yes gunsmith is the way to go. for the DBM not too much of an issue, especially if you are handy with a dremel. i know alot of folks will shudder at that, but lets face it, inletting for a trigger guard and trimming alittle material here and there isn't all that involved and just about anyone could do.

with the dick's special going on, i'm buying a few and piecing together several "builds" that have all of the stuff above, or mix and match kinda deals.

the Mccrees are nice, plug and play and modular. if you have the $ for one, that'll be the way to go. PM TMPOHUSKI7 he has a few deals on a Mcree(s).

Heck, check the for sale section, you can find some very nice chassis systems at a good price.

Top Predator, Yes its for a Rem 700 sps varmint .308.

Thank you for your input, My thoughts on this is I want to only have to buy once... I am ok with getting the stock now and mag system later, or waiting longer and getting it all in one done deal. Just looking for options and input.

This one will drop into a B & C without modification, at least it did for me. I did have to use the supplied spacer in between the bottom metal and the pillar to get the magazine to seat. That concerns me a little that it gives more of an opportunity for movement. But as far as the magazine itself it seems to work well.
