Time for some maintenance. Anyone ever taken one apart? I am assuming that a large flat blade is what I need for the pivot. Any reason to think this will not go back together correctly?

TIA

I am thinking a large flat blade won't do; unless they have changed the pivot pin?

Or you can make your own!

Re: Strider Folder - ever taken one apart?

I've taken my Sebby apart several times, and for some reason it still works.

Warranties are only worth a shit if folks return phone calls and emails - over a four week period. In every one of those emails and phone calls was an additional - 'hey, I want to buy...'

Horton Knives looks pretty good right now.

Good luck

ETA - Thanks Turk. The only ones I see are fan-C $60 - $80 units that are also out of stock. The first question that comes to mind (although I have to assume it is too small) is an AR front sight tool. A piece of scrap, a dremel,a mic, and a file - I'll get it lined out.

Thanks to all

Like you; I just filed a flat screwdriver!People at Strider are great people to talk to but forget about getting anything done in a timely fashion.
