Hey guys,

I just picked up a new Browning X-Bolt HCLRM in 28 Nosler and while applying loctite to the scope add screws I managed to strip the two left front action threads. Will I be okay leaving the two messed up ones how they are and running the gun with the other six? Really thought the new digital fat wrench broke at the right poundage like the old style but I was wrong. ?

Dang. Didn’t learn on the first one. Lol

It would probably be better to tap the threads a size larger. You will need larger screws and will probably have to enlarge the hole in the rail as well.
