Just out of curiosity, when Gov. Agencies purchase various NNFA items, whether its SBRs or suppressors or what have you, do they have to do the whole form 4/ $200 tax stamp routine or do they just buy the items and call it good?

I kind of figured just never knew for sure, like when my old unit ordered all brand new M4s and they just showed up to the armory like 2 months later.

No on the tax. Some law about how gov agencies are exempt from taxes so as to save on accounting work.
