My stepfather has a 7 STW that he had built for long range hunting, does anyone have any information on this builder. I know for a fact that he was charged to much but looking for expected accuracy and what others that have a rifle from them have to say.

For me, evaluation of a gunsmith's reputation, abilities and his respective charges
should really be given careful consideration before the work begins.
I would not want to take delivery of a build that I did not
know the final costs & what performance level to expect.
Not familiar with your smith. Have you tried alternate loads, shooters?

ballistic I am going to take this rifle to my house and shoot it, I know after looking @ the bedding job that on the wood stock that it is shit. Not trying to bash this builder as I don't know anything about them other than on there website I know that my wife could and would do a better job on the bedding than this smith did. I will post pics of bedding when I get home.
