Shot my first f-class match today at 600 and I dont there was a single 10 shot string shot by anyone in the f-t/r class that was sub-moa. My best was a 98 6x and it was probably around 1.1-1.2 moa with a 5ish or so mph wind.

Anyone with sub-moa 10+ shot strings at 600+ yards? Were you able to pull that off with any wind?

Fwiw I shot a 575 and was really happy with it being my first time shooting off of a bipod at anything over 300...

This was with a rem 700 sps varmint in an aics chassis with a cheap millett trs-1 scope. Hand loaded 168 amax with imr 4064 in lc brass was what I was shooting. It shoots 1/2-3/4 moa at 100 but it seems 600 is an entirely different animal.

We have some FTR shooters that have shot clean on a 20 shot string. One shooter has shot a 599 out of 600. That is one round out of 60 greater than 1 moa. And we do have winds at every match.

Nice shooting though. A 98 out of 100 is good.

Thats impressive! I definitely need more time behind the rifle to get close to that. 599 is just unreal...
