I'm not sure how much of a disease it is. I mean, a disease you can treat to cure or remove the symptoms of a motivated patient. These people are not interested in changing, the disease is what turns on their own sex drive. You can't cure it, they won't participate in any programs, and they all offend again. Once you do something like these two POS you have given up your rights to live in our civil society. So imprisonment, exile, or death, those are the answers I have.

Shes, you mean. If you reread the article, the second of the two (the pig who abused the infant) of them was apparently discovered in the process of investigating the first, was already serving time, and was inexplicably let off with time already served. And then there's the boyfriend ... he gets nothing more than a dirty look from the court? There's a part of me that would like to see an almost more medieval form of justice here.

If you consider that for each sex offense that results in a conviction, there are probably at least 10 others. That means that the number of abused people who in turn are more likely to abuse has gone up exponentially since we decided to keep these people alive in society. This upward tic in the number of sex offenders will continue to rise exponentially until our society comes up with a better way of dealing with them.

I think your estimate is about right. In the last week Ive read of three school employees (and different schools) within 50 miles of here who have been arrested for child porn.
