Suggestions for removing axmc barrel?

It shouldn't be that tight. You broke the screw loose on the right side of the receiver first correct? Mine was tight when I received it, but I was able to break it loose with some ass behind it.

If you have the standard muzzle brake on it, you could put a wrench across the flats and unscrew it. Make sure the brake pinch bolt is tight. The barrel isnt tight, its probably just beyond your ability to break it loose by hand.

Mine usually require a bit of wrangling to get off after lots of firing through them. I do what supersubes said and use a wrench on the brake.

I believe one time I didn't have a brake on it and I remember wrapping it with lots of towels and tape and wrenching it loose.

I have several sets of "squeeze clamps" around for various projects, and I have found them to be very useful for stuff like you're describing... I had the rear cap stuck on a suppressor, and was able to bust it loose using a pair of clamps (one on the can body, the other on the cap). They're pretty nice because they have rubber jaws, and can produce a fair amount of clamping force. They're certainly no substitute for a barrel vise, but in a situation like yours, it may be worth a shot. A picture of what I'm talking about:

you might be able to use a rubber strap wrench. if you don't have one, you should be able to pick one up cheap at the local hardware or box store. or auto parts store. then when you put it back on, I usually put the stock between my feet and just "torque" it with my hands, tight. ive never had an issue getting one of my barrels off. and when switching the return to zero has always been inside of .1 mils

Also, anti-seize on the breach threads.
