Looking for single billet upper and lower receivers for my new AR build...matching if possible (i.e from same source)

Does anybody know if Sun Devil are still around/operating? Can't get their website up.

Any experience of these products?

Also any other recommends?

Rifle is for paper out to 600yds - have an AR with AccuWedge...but looking for a better way to cut out slop.

I really like them, I have done 8 or 9 builds with complete sets, Dave even did some custom laser engraving for me. The tension screw is a nice touch if you are wanting to do a precision platform.
You can find them most of the time on Rainier Arms. Off the top if my head the only other billet upper/lower sets you can find would be Mega's new ones, also on Rainiers site. Well worth the money IMHO.

Thanks Poundcake.

Checked out the Rainer site earlier and could only find the SD Upper and this marked "Notify Me".

Couldn't see the lower....when I checked and couldn't get the SD website, this is what got me wondering if they are still out there.

Its hard to find decent pics of them, here are a couple I have done, the color looks off on that upper but its just the camera.

Yep, its the 2.5x10. It came as a package from Larue tactical with the mount. I highly recommend it. I have also got them from MSTN, and you sometimes see the scopes for sale here.

Here is another, noveske 18 inch barrel, YHM rifle length free float tube, NF 5-22x50. As you can see the scope is lacking the SPR mount the 2.5-10 has, it had to be set as far forward as possible to get proper eye relief.

SunDevil receivers are pretty sweet, there's no doubt.

They would of been my first choice for a set of matching billets, but I've recently come across a new company called;

Black Rain Ordnance

Larues link posted above indicates they have stripped uppers but there is a slight catch...you have to buy one of their uppers or a Stealth upper in order to buy their lower.
