I have and do use their products, one on a la rem 700 another on a rem sa. They are nicely built, customer service is excellent. Ask ahead of time if you are unsure of what you are getting. Thye are priced at the high end of the spectrum..They can coat in house a matte black finish.
I would compare prices etc. I also have williams, and badger . I prefer the badger on tactical builds. Like the williams on others. Other makers that are nice and priced very fair is ptg.
Of the other makers some you could get 2 bottom metals for the price of one sunny hill..
If I were to do it again I would probably go with an "other" brand and buy some ammo with the remaining funds.. Just my .02

The Badger is longer, wider, and thicker. The Rem BDL has to be opened up in all directions. I can’t tell you more than that because it's going in another McMillan that was ordered with the proper inlet.
Another plus for the M4 is that I have read it is very easy to switch to the M5 DBM. The inlet’s are very similar. I believe the depth and length are identical, only the width needs to be slightly adjusted. If you run a search it has been discussed before. Personally, I prefer floorplates, but it’s always good to have options.

I would also recommend a badger M4 if this is for a tactical build.
It is built like a tank and inletting will be a bit more extensive but it will be worth it. Also you can pick one up for a fair price in the accessories section.
