I know it's sort of a small objective and you want to let as much light through as possible, but is there a sunshade for the nxs 2.5-10? I've looked around on the Nightforce site and haven't been able to find one. Thanks.

I don't believe they offer one for the 24mm, but is possible they offer one for the 32mm. I am sure you could call them; They are great to deal with over the phone. I added a clip to my butler creek caps that only allow it to open 90 degrees. Is not as good as a complete sunshade however it does help. -Brandon

OOOPPPPsss, I should have specified. It's a nxs 2.5-10 x 32. All I have for a phone out here is a satellite phone which is a bit spendy to use. I figured I would ask first on the off chance someone knew before I spend ten bucks sitting on hold waiting to talk to someone just to find out the answer is no. I just had a new hunting/tactical rifle built and that is what is going to be riding on it. Thanks. I'll see if I can get hold of NFOptics-bill I believe that is what he goes by on here.

I'm looking into any options at this point. I hunt around water most of the time. So the low evening/morning sun and glare off the water can make seeing very difficult if not impossible without one at times. I haven't heard back from nightforce yet, but it's only been one day and it's the weekend at that so we'll see what transpires next week.

I got an ARD from Scott @ Liberty Optics for mine. Inexpensive and does the trick. It does decrease the available light markedly so it's not the ideal solution for dawn/dusk hunting. It's not so bad that it can't be done so it does the trick. You need to replace the stock NF flip caps to use it. That however is not a downside. The Butler Creek caps are WAY better anyway.

Couldn't agree with you more about the scope caps that came with it. I heard back from Bill at nightforce and there is no sunshade available nor are there any plans for one in the future. I guess I'll be giving Scott a call re the ARD. Thanks for the info. What number butler creeks did you get for yours?

Honestly I don't even know. I just called Scott and told him I needed BC caps and an ARD for the 2.5-10x32 NF and he sent the right ones. I think I threw away the box they came in already or I'd look for you. Just call Scott, he'll take care of you. Thanks for the report back.
