I got this scope for my .22 trainer. While Midway provides numbers for the lens caps there is nothing for a sunshade. Weaver is NO help. But I finally found one that may be readily available. Its a Nikon RSH-11. Fits perfectly. The one I got was $12 at a show, no idea of what retail is. Oh, mine is silver, all they had. We'll paint it soon. The thing is you can find one of these.

So Nikon RSH-11 sunshade fits.

Is the outside diameter the same? I already have BC flip covers.

Also, does anyone make a killflash? Are both necessary or does the kf eliminate the need for a shade?

Re: Sunshade for Weaver Tactical Grand Slam Scope

The Weaver 3-15x50 objective bell and sunshade are both 60mm in diameter. There are two BC caps that fit. The smaller is tight and may split the plastic. The next size larger will slide on easily but handling and recoil might make it slide off. In this case you can wrap one layer of black electrical tape around the bell a 1/4" back from the front edge. The larger sized BC cap will then fit nicely. I have that on my 308 tactical with good results.

I just went and looked at mine I share the one off my nikon 6x18 with my 3x10 weaver and it appears to be ever so slight smaller

Or you can just buy the one from Midway. They stock one for the 3-15x50s. It's 35.99 I think, I bought one a month ago.
