Rifle Scopes Super Sniper alum 30 mm rings any good?

Has anyone used these rings? They are aluminum...and not steel. I was lookign at picking up a set.

good to go...from what ive read here theyre working on a 'redesign' of them. interested to see if its anything drastic or something simple.
