Hey folks-
Another opportunity for me to hopefully gain some insight from so many helpful and smart peeps. Is anyone running a suppressed 6mm Creedmoor? My can is finally on the way, and I cannot wait until the moment that I can tighten that baby down on my weapon and get to shootin'! I'm mostly wondering the effectiveness of a .30 cal can on this particular caliber and what kind of POI shift to expect. The can is an AAC Cyclone. Thanks in advance everyone!

It suppresses pretty well for a 30cal can on a 6mm projo. It will be a little snappy to the ears. Still wear ear pro for sure. Impact shift should be minimal around .2-.4 low maybe some left to right movement.

I have a 6 Creed, but haven't put the can on it yet. If everybody at the comps was running suppressors, then it might make more sense. As it is, you have to wear earpro all the time so I have not wanted the extra length and weight fo the can.

That being said, I shoot with a guy who shoots a .243 with a thunderbeast, and it is really, really quiet. No earpro needed at all.

I run a .243 with a TBAC 30P-1 all the time and it works great. Like KYS said, it can be a little snappy around barricades, timber areas, or buildings but overall it does just fine.
