I have been running my lmt mws suppressed using for sometime now with my surefire 762ss can. All has been fine except for the ocasional cycling problem that never happens unsuppressed. I received a slash car 10 - xh buffer and .308 carbine spring and I am hoping this will help with my issues.

Tonight I put the new buffer and spring in my rifle, but I did notice the slash buffer and spring are much shorter than the factory items.

For those of you running this setup, did you notice this length difference?

Is this spring and buffer going to cause more issues than it solves? Even without the suppressor the rifle seems really overgassed so I am hoping to help with that and hopefully cut some recoil.

The first day I ran my MWS w/ the Slash buffer I put 240 rounds down range, no problems.

The next day I put another 200 rounds down range, I think I cleaned it the third trip out after putting a total of over 600 suppressed rounds through the gun. No problems.

Don't let the DIfference in length fool you. It's possible that the two springs still have different springy-ness (spring rate) and when coupled with how they react to the different types of buffers, well, you can change the whole feel of a gun.

See how it works.

In emailing with Clint from heavy buffers I have found I misread his original emails and ordered the wrong items. Hopefully I can get everything exchanged and get the correct parts in my rifle.
