New to suppressors so forgive my ignance...what is the point of a cover? Is it more for looks or does it actually have a function. I cant imagine it dissipates heat much faster for you to touch it but maybe thats why ya'll get em.

You get a cover like these to help with heat mirage.

I have a few TBAC (Armageddon) covers and they have been great.

Also, between Shooting strings it is a good idea to pull the cover off and let the can cool down.
