I am in a position in my life that I can move and I am seriously considering doing it. Not that living in a suppressor friendly state is my only deciding factor, it would be nice to have the rights to own and use a suppressor on my rifles. In the current state I reside (WA), I can legally own a suppressor but I cannot send a projectile through it?! Doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me, but as I stated I am considering the move. If anyone could inform me of where these states are that would be greatly appreciated.

You can also own SBR's and Full Auto's there as well.

If you run a search (Google) there are tons of sites that will give you a list of the states that permit ownership (and use) of suppressors (there are 30+ that allow).

It's crowded enough already, and too many newcomers are Yankees, which, like hemorrhoids , aren't too bad if the come down and then go back up, but when they stay down, they're a real pain in the ass.

BPA I have to agree with you about Montana being awesome. We were there visiting the girlfriends best friend last year, and I tried to stay, but we had to get home to get the kids.
I am really getting tired of new laws, unprotecting the honest citizen in Washington anymore. It seems as the criminals and illegal immigrants have more rights then the honest hard working citizen here anymore (at least on the east side of the mountains).

AL, AR, AK, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MO (with C&R), MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, WI, and WY allow silencer use. Only about a dozen of these states also allow machine guns and SBS/SBR.
I like Idaho and Montana.
