Suppressor mirage at 8x?

Is suppressor mirage at 8x a problem or is it really only a issue at higher magnification?

Thinking about investing in a liberty defense suppressor cover for a AR...

Depends on the amount of humidity in the air and how hot your can is.

Buy a suppressor cover and don't worry about it.

When the suppressor gets hot, you will see it at 8x.

I’ve noticed at lower magnification also just depends on the day

Are some covers better at insulating the can to mitigate mirage?
If so what are the best ones for insulation?
