My dealer is telling me 8-12 weeks to get a can from the manufacturer. How is this possible when YHM has the cans in stock.. Am I missing something here, or does it take this long for a dealer to get a can in from the manufacturer?

Depends on the time it takes for it to transfer from YHM to your dealer. And unfortunately he is right..... But it may go quicker then that. I had one transfer in two weeks from dealer to dealer (form 3). While another guy in another state is taking 3+ months and a lot of complaints!

It's also possible that your dealer is waiting to get more orders in before he actually orders your can. From what I've read, form 3s are averaging about 4-5 weeks.

You have the option of ordering it yourself.... pay for it and have them transfer it to him. But he may not like you going around him to get the can. Just tell him you prefer for him to go ahead and order it and you will pay the shipping to get it in his hands to begin your transfer.

it took 8 weeks for me. To get from mile high here to PA. Its getting longer im told.
And for somthing that takes such a long wait on the ATF,s side they sure do cash the tax check quick...LOL
