Suppressors Supressor reducing my velocity??

I have about 1500 rounds through my TBA 30P 1, just noticed my velocity is reduced about 30FPS when I put my can on.....WFT mate, I usually only run with the can on, have never taken it off, But I had a match where I could not run a can so I have to take it off and noticed velocity was different.

Is this usual? I thought it sped it up?

Not my experience. Was it the same chrono, same temp, same distance from the chrono?

My thunderbeast lowers the point of impact, but doesn't change velocity. Is it possible you are confusing a point of impact change with a velocity change?

I've shot both ways in a match. My dope matches my velocity both ways

I'd recheck everything (conditions, powder lot, etc) because there's no physical mechanism to slow it down.

I've noticed that sometimes chronos measure differently based on the gas plume.

That's exactly what I was thinking,

I am using a magneto speed v2,

Usually I see a slight amount of speed increase, But I was also using a chrono that was 5 feet away in the past. The last couple years I have been using this magneto speed. Has been spot on with me dope so I am confused!!
