as some of you may or may not know, i am a dealer for SUREFIRE suppressors. they just sent me a sales video and i thought you might like to take a look at it.

I really like my .338 Surefire.

i have a MINI on order for my AR-15...it is going to be a DEMO...i'll post video once i get it but i think that would be the way to go. only 2.75" added to the OAL of the rifle. not bad.

how does the 338 sound? i was thinking about stocking one and having one as a demo.

it's quiet...I dont have anything to compare it to. I dont really care how quiet these suppressors are...they are better than a bare barrel...they are better with recoil as well...but the Brake is the best...just loud as hell.

On my bolt guns I just care about impact shift and cold bore. I'm using it on a custom built 300 RCM.

I got the .338 so I could run it on everything less than .338 as well...it works on my .308, too.

I don't know...I always wear ear plugs...been shooting along time and I can't hear everything I use to so I don't chance it. I do know that it is accurate on all platforms...

I'm a big fan of the SF on my 308 bolt gun, although it's a complete bitch to remove when hot. I typically just put in the front seat on the way home, and remove it after the barrel cools.

In regards to hearing protection, I use it regardless. I do, however, plan on using the suppressor hunting the fall (legal in SC).

I run the same .338 can on my .308 as Kevin has. I like it alot. Like him I wear plugs so not sure on the hearing safe but in the video below I forgot to put my plug back in and it wasn't bad.

Well, I know the advertisement worked on me. Large amounts of want were generated. I was disappointed not to see it on any bolt guns during the commercial, so thanks for fixing that grievous oversight Rob01.

the MINI is 5 inches long and adds 2.75 inches to the OAL. it also weighs 14 ounces
the K is 6 inches long and adds 4.3 inches to the OAL. it weighs 16 ounces.

as far as sound, you would have to ask CHUCKY about that.

On a 16 inch barrel using M855 the 212 averaged 135db's the mini on the same gun averaged 137db's.

At 1:04 he talks about keeping the operators position concealed but the guy in the video is sweeping his light around like "look at me here I am"
Looks like they make great cans I saw the VTac guy what ever his name is filled a 5.56 can full of water and shot it. I thought water was a no-no for rifle cans. They must be tough.
