Surgeon 6.5 creedmoor

My dad is in the process of getting one of the creemoors ready to ship at surgeon. Neither of us have any experience with the creedmoor or surgeon. Can I get any advise/pointers? Best deals on ammo, favorite factory ammo, loads, any problems to look out for, or anything else you think I should know. Thanks, I will post pictures when we get it (after he pics which one he wants).

Well Surgeon is top notch stuff and the Creedmoor is one badass round. I shoot the Creedmoor and I love it. If you don't reload then the Hornady Match with the 140gr AMAX will work good out to 1000yd. I reload but my specs are the same as the Hornady Match just 1 grain higher powder charge. There's no doubt that the gun will be a tack driver

Favorite factory ammo for me is the Hornady 140 Amax. If you aren't going long the Hornady 120 Amax is great ammo too.

Save the brass.....

That's funny, I ended up bumping the charge 0.1 grains too!
