No, minor inletting needs to be done . The Surgeon doesnt tapper as much towards the front.

The outer corners of the mag well on the Badger are sharper versus the Surgeon which has more of a radius.

Also the Surgeon is wider at the mag well than the Badger and the walls of the mag well are thicker than the Badger.
