Here is a nice rifle in .260 ready for its optics. Cerakoted Broughton (threaded) in a McMillan A5, Badger bottom and EFR. Trigger is a Jewel (click). Solid in all regards.

Sure, that was mentioned in the first lines, that is the Badger EFR. But know it the mounting of it within the forend that is the trick.

Know what you are using for optics, know what you are using for rings and base, know what you are using the NV. Know what set backs you want (wraps/covers/etc.) lay it all out with your qualified smith.

I love the helical fluting...that'd be the only thing I could imagine on my custom rifle...nice idea to paint the fluting black, good contrast.
