Is there a budget that must be met?

I'd strongly consider the bottom metal by Surgeon. And I have both Surgeon and Badger.

If you don't have a problem with overkill, Spuhr mounts are hard to top.

What is the purpose of this rifle? I can certainly understand the monster Nightforce scope for F-TR ... But not much more. There are so many great optics from which to choose, too.

I got a call from them as well. 2 years for an action that I never though I would get.
I sent mine to pierce engineering and going with a Bartlein MTU in the 2014 ax chassis
Going with a heavy creedmoor, since the titanium action they made me shoots one ragged hole.

Good luck with your build.

Whats your budget for scopes?
As for triggers, I would definitely go with a Jewell. I had a Timney in my Surgeon that I borrowed from a buddy just to make a direct comparison to the Jewell and it only lasted about 10 rounds before I said I had to go back to the Jewell. I also had a Timney 517 in my old Remington custom but again when I got my Surgeon the Jewell just blew it out of the water.
McMillian or Manners will suit you well. I would get an adjustable cheek piece for sure. I have a Manners T4 right now and have trouble really getting comfortable behind the rifle with the lowest rings I could find.
Badger makes a good solid DBM, I would look into Surgeons as well. Can't go wrong with all Surgeon parts, but they will both be very well built.

When it comes to optics. I would suggest letting us know what type of shooting you will be doing and at how far? What system are you more familiar with (MOA, MILs, IPHY, etc.)?
I personally kinda went on the cheaper side and run a Bushnell HDMR 3.5-21 and have made shots out to 1300 with my .308. Planning on looking into the Vortex Gen 2 4.5-27's. The 1-6 was extremely nice and well made.

No real budget for the whole gun. If I have to wait a year or so to save to get more the right parts so be it. But if I can stay round 5k to 6k with optics I be happy
Purpose of the gun bench queen from 100 yards on up.

Kalindark yeah I thought the day never come for me ether dream come true
Shannerbaner10 I figured for glass keep it round 1500 to 2k. I love a hensoldt dot scope but I know they are pricey.
Range as mentioned before 100 yards till it's no longer accurate. Realistic 100 to 600 yards. To be honest and I sincerely apologize for the plan terms I'm really a novice on scope cross hairs I'm use to the traditional cross hairs with the 4 lines underneath and above
Now the Jewell trigger which one should I get
And McMillan the stock I was looking at a5 with adjustable but and cheek piece
