Hello all, im new to the site but familiar with guns, just not precision rifles. I inherited a Surgeon action with Beanland 6 Dasher BBL, what would yall do with this? Sell? Build? Trade? P.s. I inherited many precision rifles that I shoot little, so that's important too.

You've got a top notch action and a top notch barrel chambered in a somewhat obscure cartridge that will require handloading and case fireforming. If you are a casual shooter or you don't reload, you will probably want to rechamber the barrel or sell it and replace it with something more common. Or you could probably find a buyer for the entire barreled action depending on how many rounds down the tube. Do you have any specs on the barrel? Manufacturer? Twist? Length? Round count?
Since the barrel is an unknown, you probably won't get much if you try to sell it. I know I wouldn't buy a used barrel without in depth knowledge of its specs and condition. But you have a top notch custom action there that could be the foundation for the short action build of your choosing. New Surgeon 591s were running around $1300 at Bugholes last time I checked. If you want to build a new short action rifle, you will be hard pressed to find a better action. If you choose to sell it, you won't have any problem finding a willing buyer.
That thing is complete junk. I'd sell it for next-to-nothing just to get rid of it.
Obviously, I'm joking. That's a top-notch action with a barrel from one of the best in the business. I think that the 6 Dasher (and 6 BR) are the most under-rated cartridges in our sport. If I were you, I'd build that into a rig and never sell it!

You are only a chassis and a scope and mount away from what is potentially a fine shooting rifle.
Pick up a KRG Xray, toss the barreled action in there, maybe add a trigger and for $1000 bucks you'll be in business. Add a couple hundred for dies and brass and you should be good to go. Yes, you will need to reload but if you already have a pile of precision rifles, that really shouldn't be an issue.
Worst comes to worst, another grand and you can get a great bbl in whatever short action caliber you desire. I'm going this way on a GreTan in 6.5x47 now. The chassis is on order, the scope is pirated from another gun and the bipod will be shared with my other rifle.
