SVT-40 cleaning rod, where to find?

Hi!

I just got an SVT-40 and I cannot seem to find a cleaning rod for my 1941 Tula SVT-40.

I really want to find one to complete my rifle, let me know if you know where to find one. I’ll reward with a $100 finders fee if I win either the auction or the buy it now

Use your ability and critical thinking skills before Jumping to an assumption. Try it, use google, and put your reading glasses on.

Hahahaha he missed and didn’t read it was sold out. Assumed I haven’t seen every website that has offered these once before.

lol, you’re 50 years old. How miserable can you be. I had a great read looking at all of your comments. Quite a sour old guy imo. You’re only half way through and already taking your day out on other people lol.

My apologies. I think they are basically the same as the Mosin rod, just slightly shorter. Maybe that can be an option if you are unable to find one. Get a Mosin rod, cut it down a rethread it.

The key difference is that the SVT rod has an integral ring that engages the rod release button. A cut down MN rod will fall out.
