Rifle Scopes swaorvski z5 5.5x25x52

I am looking to put medium range gun together. I am have a Remington xcr 300 win mag tactical and an aics stock on the way....... I am looking to glass it.

I came across the swarovski 5.5x25.x52 scope. Now I usually stay with a 30mm tube, this one has a 1 inch tube. How much of a difrence am I missing.....

Does anyone have one and what do you think of it.

You may lose some adjustment with a 1" tube.

I have a Z5 3.5-18x44 on my varmint gun .220 Swift Sako and i giggle like a school girl everytime i look through it.

If they made a dedicated target/tactical scope i'd be all over it.

I shoot a 5-25 Z5 with the BRX reticle on my prairie dog rig. Works great. They really make some great hunting scopes. You are going to have less internal adjustment than the Z6 series (their 30mm tube scope line).

+1000 to that. They are very light, and as crisp as can be. Overall a very refined scope in fit and finish. To me the Schmidts resemble maybe what a Swarovski tactical scope would be like.

Lets hope someday we get to see that for ourselves......
