Swapping a barrel between actions

I'm just wondering if anyone has experience swapping a barrel between different actions and whether the loads transfer across....
I'm waiting for my AT-X to come, can I just develop a load for a barrel in my AT and then be good to go in the AT-X?
I assume that the barrel harmonics are the major issue and as there is nothing touching the barrel on an AI the harmonics should remain the same across the 2 actions.

I moved a barrel from a savage to a bighorn origin when I upgraded. Same load worked. Just had to adjust my sizing die.
