Rifle Scopes Swapping to a 20moa mount?

Just wondering:
I am swapping a 0moa Spuhr Cantilever 1.50 height for a 20.6moa Sphur Cantilever 1.50 height.

If I mount it on the same tube location and use the same pic rail spots. Will I just need to dial down my optic 20.5moa?
and be still zeroed(close enough)?

Doubtful. Should be close but what’s “close enough”? You’ll need to reconfirm your zero.

just meant close enough. because I realize there are variables in place. Like position of the tube not being exactly the same
and its a 20.6 cant and I can only adjust 20.5. Just trying to get close so I can rezero with less rounds

I just changed out a 0 MOA for 20 MOA on my rifle. I went ahead and adjusted down 20 and tried it out at 100. If I remember correctly, I had to come down an additional 2-3 MOA and left 1-2 MOA. You'll be close enough to be on target I would think.

Thats all i was hoping for. Close enough to zero with a few rounds.

1-2 moa to the left?? Did you use the same style mount? Maybe difference in tolerance?

I’ve done the same thing on my old savage.
0 moa rail to 20 moa rail with new rings.
I dialed down 20 and was on paper.

Possibly. I am not sure if I am getting another 34mm optic for an empty AR.
