Swarovski Dual Eyepiece Spotter!

That twin eye piece costs $2632 and with the scope that adds up to close to $3800, I don't think that would be a wise investment, and I would rather have my GR/Mk 4, because they have proven them selves over the years.

John.

Some very nice glass. When I was shooting 1000 yd BR in the mid 90s, some guys had custom machined brackets that held two spotters, like binocular bodies. Most had Bushnell Spacemasters w/22x Wide Angle eyepieces, but one gunsmiyh had two Swaro's w/ 27 LER/WA eyepieces. This was way before HD tv even came out, and looking through those eyepieces almost gave me vertigo from the depth of field and clarity. That rig was close to $6k in Clinton era dollars; I'd love to see how the dual eyepiece on a single scope body compared.

I wonder if you retain the "3D stereo" visual effect that you get with bino's when using a single objective.

No you would not.
It's the distance separating the two light paths in binoculars that provides 3D visual cues.
The Swaro dual eyepiece is going to split the single light path and make it visible with both eyes.
