I received my swaro laser guide yesterday from Cabelas and i think the damn thing is broke! The reviews I've read say that the auto brightening display can be less than stellar but this thing is almost impossible to see. And that's when it actually works. I can get the display fairly visible but when i hit the button the display disappears about half the time. Anyone had a similar experience? I'll be sending it back to Cabelas on Monday if i can't figure out the issue.

Swarovski called first thing today! Great CS. I'm sending it back to cabelas but the rep thought i might not have been holding the button long enough for the laser to charge? When the display would shut off i couldn't get it to come back on for a few button pushes. It did seem very finicky with eye position also. Tried a new battery but didn't help

Just a little update. Cabelas replaced the rangefinder and the new one is working flawlessly! easily getting ranges on tree lines past 1800 yrds! Excellent glass as well, might leave the bino's at home from now on.
